Meletti is an amaro that's on the sweeter side and not overwhelmingly herbaceous. This spritz is a bittersweet crowd pleaser and a great intro to playing with amaros in cocktails.
1 oz Meletti Amaro
3 oz Prosecco, the dryer the better
1-2 oz soda water
3-4 dashes The Bitter Housewife Aromatic Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a champagne flute or wine glass, pouring both the Prosecco and soda water slowly down the side of the glass to keep foaming to a minimum. Stir gently to mix and garnish with an orange twist. Can also be served over ice if preferred.
