Inspired by Westward Whiskey and the cool fall weather of the Pacific Northwest, these bitters were made with an elevated, holiday Old Fashioned in mind. I imagine sipping one curled up by a fire in a Pendelton blanket while listening to the rain pour down.

These bitters are a lighter version of our Aromatic bitters that really let all the toasty flavor of roasted Oregon grown hazelnuts shine through. Finished with the spicy notes of cinnamon and black pepper, they bring a welcome warmth to any cocktail you dash them in.

Ingredients: Alcohol, water, organic sugar, Oregon hazelnuts, cassia, allspice, black peppercorns, wild cherry bark, black walnut leaf, gentian, quassia.

Great with the Brown Liquors

These are an amazing addition - this & orange in an old fashioned - killer. Especially w/ amarena cherries.

I also like them paired with chocolate bitters in drinks with coffee liquor - tequila, coffee liquor, hazelnut & chocolate bitters for example, shaken - amazing.

This is a fun one to play with.

Best bitters for an old-fashioned I’ve come across

I always keep these on hand for old-fashioneds. I tend to get your orange bitters occasionally via Amazon but these are always stocked. I’ve always loved hazelnut as a flavor and really enjoy Westward whiskey as well. Thank you for your work, keep it up :)

1 barspoon Rumamok bourbon barrel aged maple syrup

2 dashes hazelnut bitters

2 dashes orange or aromatic bitters

2.25 oz bourbon

Stir with a large ice cube garnish with orange peel and enjoy!

Warm and spicy

I don't like hazelnuts, but I really like these bitters - the hazelnut adds a warm, spicy quality to the base aromatic bitters. I don't like it as well with whiskey because the flavours disappear a bit, but these bitters are perfect in soda water!
